The UAE's AI strategy moves from pilots to production

Government entities and large enterprises are retiring proof-of-concept culture in favour of measurable deployment.

The UAE's AI strategy moves from pilots to production

For three years the question across UAE boardrooms was whether artificial intelligence could be trusted with real operational weight. That question has quietly been settled. The new question is narrower and harder: which processes, at what cost, with what oversight.

Entities that moved early are consolidating dozens of scattered pilots into a small number of production systems with named owners, service levels and audit trails.

The organisations pulling ahead are not the ones with the most models. They are the ones with the clearest accountability.

Talent, not tooling, is the constraint

Procurement of platforms is straightforward. Building teams that can own model behaviour, data lineage and change management is not, and it is where regional employers are now competing hardest.
